"Uo-chan" - Uo-chan is a former gang member or a yankee; a Japanese version of the American "Gangster thug" image. She has been one of Tohru's closest friends since Tohru's mother helped her escape from the gang called "The Ladies" after wanting to go straight.

Uo-chan is tough, brash, sometimes violent but cries easily when it comes to her friends. She wears long skirts, carries a lead pipe, and often speaks like a guy.

Uo likes to swim, play cards, protect Tohru from Yuki's fangirls and annoy Kyo.

Her "convoluted" personality comes from home problems early in her life with her mother leaving her and her father for another man, while her father became an alcoholic because of it, leaving Arisa to become harsh and jaded in her views of the world until she met the kindness of Tohru and her mother, Kyoko.

With her overprotective and "parental" protection of Tohru with Hana-chan, she comes off as the brash and direct father.

out of the blue

"Domo arigato." I said after handing me money for his groceries "Do you
want me to help you?"

"No, thanks. I got it." then he turned his back.

"Sir! You're bleeding!" I saw a red pigment at the back of his shirt. If my intuition serves me right, it was blood.

"It's nothing. See you."

"But, sir!" then he made his exit.

It's funny. This guy's already has a blue cast on his right arm and what seemed to be a bandage on his back. Yet, this guy's doing the grocery and buying all sorts of stuff. He barely could lift his heavy load with one arm. I feel sorry for this guy.

What concerned me most -- he's kinda' familiar. But it's hard to lay a finger who since he was wearing a pair of sunglasses and a red cap at that time. Who could it be?

released my mind. 7:54 PM
