"Uo-chan" - Uo-chan is a former gang member or a yankee; a Japanese version of the American "Gangster thug" image. She has been one of Tohru's closest friends since Tohru's mother helped her escape from the gang called "The Ladies" after wanting to go straight.

Uo-chan is tough, brash, sometimes violent but cries easily when it comes to her friends. She wears long skirts, carries a lead pipe, and often speaks like a guy.

Uo likes to swim, play cards, protect Tohru from Yuki's fangirls and annoy Kyo.

Her "convoluted" personality comes from home problems early in her life with her mother leaving her and her father for another man, while her father became an alcoholic because of it, leaving Arisa to become harsh and jaded in her views of the world until she met the kindness of Tohru and her mother, Kyoko.

With her overprotective and "parental" protection of Tohru with Hana-chan, she comes off as the brash and direct father.

just the quality time I'm looking for

Well I'll be. Orange top sure knows how to use that fishing rod. That or he's just lucky. There was nothing to do at home and I went to visit Tohru. I guess you can call me lucky too, since she invited me to come over. I mean, my cellphone rang in front of their doorstep. And when she opened the door, I smiled. She invited me to go fishing with them. Just what I need.

A short time after, Saki popped out from behind.

We went to this secluded part of the lake. Shigure said that it's his favorite spot to fish and unwind. I helped Tohru prep up the fire to be used for cooking. The Prince gathered some firewood. Orange top worked his magic with the fishes and Saki helped gather wood and with cooking. I didn't see Shigure until Tohru started giving out the meals.

"I thought you were going fishing." said Yuki when he noticed Shigure asking for a paper plate.

"Ahh yes, my dear Yuki. But I couldn't also ignore the peace and quiet. And so I slept."

"I see. So you just wanted to Kyo to be useful."

"Precisely." good grief.

"HAHA! I beat you, you dumb dog!" yare yare. "Feel my wrath!"

"Eat up, Kyo. Your catch is getting cold." I said. It brought a smile in me.

"Oh right."

Today's worth writing.

Next time, I'll challenge Kyo in a fishing duel.
